    Plot Outline:
the US President has been caught in a White House sex scandal. To his rescue comes the supreme spin-doctor, Conrad Brean (Robert De Niro). Rather than creating a new Gulf War, Conrad drags White House staffer Winifred Ames (Anne Heche) to Hollywood to meet (and recruit) film producer Stanley Motss (Dustin Hoffman) into service. Within hours, Conrad and Stanley have convinced the world that the US is on the verge of war with Albania, and everyone's forgotten about the sex scandal. From there, they stage manage the president through the situation, changing their story to fit evolving circumstances. [source: Brian Webster - Apolloguide]
