BBC Horizon - The Ape that Took Over the World (2001)

Millions years ago one special creature walked on the planet Earth. How human beings evolved so different other animals? A new discovery just provided the answer to that question. But the trouble is that is not expected. Meave Leakey's discovery was the oldest skull of a human ancestor named Kenyanthropus platyops (Flat-faced Man of Kenya). The evidence shows there were two different bipedal human ancestors living at the same time.
