Chocolat (2000)

Vianne Rocher and her daughter travel from town to town and open a chocolaterie in each town they visited. They immediately attract attentions, especially due to never visiting the church. This outlander woman changes the routine of a townspeople in the rural France with her ancient recipes forever.

The script is full of clever dialogs, touchs on the sexual/class discrimination and our taboos at the same time. Delightful and charming characters, a moving story and an exotic soundtrack make this work timeless. Juilette Binoche is magical and ethereal in her role. And don't forget the secret weapon: Johnny Depp

I've posted a lot of atheist themed movies or the movies which have a secular language until today, but this one is my special favorite.
