Fox Buys Untitled Female Lead, High-Octane, Action Drama With Penalty - best f y

Fox has lined up a second drama from Peter Berg’s Film 44. An untitled hourlong project written by The Bridge co-developer/executive producer Elwood Reid has received a script commitment with significant penalty.

Described as a “high-octane character drama”, the project follows the woman with the most lethal mind in America, a brilliant and ruthless military professor, who is recruited by a former student to help a covert branch of the CIA deal with high-priority targets.

“Elwood is an incredibly talented creator and a great collaborator; we’re excited to help bring this idea to life,” said Berg.
